Tips on How to Promote Your Library

• Speak with key community stakeholders on where partnerships can begin
• Be familiar with what's happening in the community; ask if library can provide support to community events
• Post - Monthly Activities in community newsletters
• Invite an artist, musican, storyteller, writer, poet to be part of your activity plans
• Update your website, highlight new collections, monthly themes or special events
• Provide displays, brouchures, pamphlets and presentations when opportunity presents itself
• Be creative with programming - involve all ages groups
